The Smoky Mountain National Park is gorgeous but timely to navigate for first-time visitors. Keep in mind many of the local roads are winding mountain roads. Many of the best attractions are spread out, and you will spend a lot of time in the car. There is no cell service once you're in the park, so be prepared with maps or screenshots. There are no cabins inside the park other than those you may pass on specific hikes that are 100 years old and not inhabitable. It's been a national park since 1934.

Pet Policy
By booking our cabin, you agree to the following rules, so please be sure to read thoroughly and carefully. Failure to follow these rules may result in the immediate cancellation of your stay at Le Chalet Rentals. Thank you for helping us to continue to make this a pet-friendly rental.
Guests are permitted one well-behaved and groomed house-trained dog weighing 30 pounds or less, unless the Host agrees in advance, for an additional rate of $100 for your stay.
Under no circumstances may the dog be permitted to become a barking nuisance to the neighbors.
The dog must be healthy and up-to-date with the following shots: Rabies, Distemper, Adenovirus, Parainfluenza, and Parvovirus. The dog must be flea and tick-free and current on prevention treatment.
Guest's dog must have licenses and tags, including name tags, and be on a leash at all times when outside of the cabin.
Do NOT leave your dog at the cabin unattended under any circumstances.
Guests are responsible for keeping the cabin and outdoor areas clean and free of dog odors and waste. Clean your furry friend before coming indoors. Wipes are provided for cleaning paws upon returning to the cabin. Cabin towels are NOT to be used for pets.
Please use provided dog waste bags located in the cabin, and dispose of pet waste in the garbage can. The location of the garbage can is found in the Cabin Manual. Guests will not let the dog relieve itself in the neighbors' yards.
Guests are responsible for cleaning up any "accidents" their dog has caused inside. Please notify us of any accidents or damage.
A dog bed is provided. The dog is not allowed on any guest beds at any time. Evidence of any pet soiling/damage on bed or bedding may incur extra cleaning and/or replacement fees.
As responsible pet owners, Guests agree to accept full responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the dog or suffered by any person during Guests' stay.
Guests understand that Le Chalet Rentals will charge accordingly to repair any damages, additional cleaning requirements, or flea treatment caused by the dog's presence or behavior.
Upon arrival, please locate our pet supply station, including a special welcome gift for our canine Guest.

Rules
By confirming your booking, you agree to adhere to the Rental Rules set forth in this listing and this document. If you bring more humans than agreed upon by your reservation you will be asked to leave without a refund and/or charged an extra $25 per human per night.
EXCHANGE OF MONEY AUTOMATICALLY CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SET FORTH HEREIN.
- All guests must be 25, except children accompanied by their parents
- Quiet hours between 9pm-8am
- Respect our home
- Be advised you will have to clean up after yourself.
- Before you leave, we ask that the items below be completed to help our housekeeper prepare for the next guest: Please empty the fridge and take all trash to the bear proof can in the driveway. Please load all dishes into the dishwasher and run it.
- The hot tub will have been professionally cleaned prior to your arrival.
- We have stocked the cabin with many items including start-up supplies.
- You will likely need to supplement with your own during your stay such as toilet paper, paper towels, soaps etc for longer stays.

- Cabin Rental Agreement: First and foremost, Relax, Breathe, Laugh, Love and Live.
- Smoking is NOT allowed, and Drugs of any kind are NOT permitted
- People other than those in the Guest party set forth in the on-line agreement may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person in the property is the sole responsibility of Guest. Guests are not allowed to exceed the occupancy limit agreed to in the on-line itinerary.
- Guests should not create excessive noise at a level that disturbs neighbors; Neighborhood quiet hours are from 9:00p.m. – 8:00a.m. If you plan to party do NOT book this cabin. It is our home, and you must treat it with respect.
- All of the units are privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Use of the surrounding community areas including any sort of swimming or water facility (if applicable) is the sole risk or the renter, guest, and their guests.
- Keep the property and all furnishings in good order, removing any items from the cabin including living and kitchen furnishings is not permitted, and you will be charged accordingly if anything is removed.
- Only use appliances for their intended uses.
- If you bring a pet and any incident happens with your pet and a neighbor, any human, or any other being, living or non-living, the homeowners are not liable. See additional PET POLICY details below.
- Parking: Number of vehicles is not allowed to exceed the number indicated in the listing. Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only. Parking on the road is not permitted. Parking in the neighbor’s driveway is not permitted. Any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.
- Check-in/Check-out times. Please follow the check-in and check-out times as indicated in the listing.
- Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units. Before you leave, we ask that the items below be completed to help our housekeeper quickly prepare for the next guest. Please load all dishes into the dishwasher and run it on the normal cycle. Please remove and dispose of all items in the refrigerator. Place used towels in the bathtub. Do not wash towels prior to departure. Please leave sheets and comforters on the beds.
- Please lock all doors and all windows upon departure.
- Garbage: Any garbage must be stowed in the proper bear-proof garbage receptacle, located near the driveway. Please do not stuff the bear box so full that it’s impossible to remove the bags, and please do not leave any loose trash in the bear box.
- Hot Tub: [No children under the age of 18 permitted in hot tubs at any time without adult supervision]. When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk. Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill, and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. [DO NOT SIT OR STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVER. Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons. They will break and you may be charged for replacement.] Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so hot tub will stay warm.
- Fireplace: The fireplace is an electric fireplace. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace.
- Water and Sewer: The cabin is on a city water and sewer systems. The system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at any time. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the sewer system, you could be charged damages of up to $1,000. Absolutely No Grease in the Kitchen Sink.
- Storms: No refunds will be given for storms. [Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. We highly recommend a four-wheel drive vehicle during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.
- Any damage to any items in the cabin including couches, chairs, tables, TVs, hot tub, beds, sheets, towels, pillows, etc., are the responsibility of the renter. Every item will be looked at before arrival and after departure. If you cause damage, notify the owner immediately. We will find it and charge you regardless. It is our home. Treat it as if it were your own.
